Electric grid and large power users. Sets terms for power users above 75 megawatts at one site, such as data centres. They must help pay to connect, and can be ordered to cut usage during an energy emergency alert.
The House voted 103 to 25. This is record vote 3643 in the House Journal. Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick named it a must-pass priority. Governor Greg Abbott signed it.
